Primrose Valley at Filey is Haven Holidays’ flagship Yorkshire caravan holiday park and one of the largest in the UK. It offers something for everyone and excellent value for money. The park features nonstop action with four swimming pools and various food outlets, including Papa Johns, Fish and Chips, an all-new Burger King restaurant, and a family-friendly Wetherspoons pub. Primrose Valley also has two direct beach access points and an on-site convenience store with a gift shop selling a variety of everyday products. Play Passes to access the swimming pools and showbars can be purchased online up to 12 weeks before arrival via the Haven Holidays website.
The park offers a wide range of outdoor activities for all ages. Recently added is the LakeHouse Complex, which features outdoor children’s play areas, a funfair, an aerial adventure course, outdoor seating, a bar and restaurant, and an outdoor cinema showing top-rated family movies daily. This allows parents to relax while keeping an eye on their children. As always, the famous Haven Holidays Seaside Squad are available on-park for family photos. Activity Passes are required to access some of the park’s family activities.

Primrose Valley Activity Passes allow you to pre-book activities during your stay so you can get straight into the action. Passes can be purchased online or at the holiday park and booked 12 weeks before arrival once you have purchased Play Passes. Swimming sessions can be booked 4 weeks before arrival.
Best Things to Do Near Filey & Scarborough
Nearby, the picturesque town of Filey is just a 10-minute walk along the beach from Primrose Valley. Bridlington and Scarborough are a short drive away, each offering its own seafront attractions. Scarborough is home to the famous Alpamare Splash Park and the Sea Life Centre. Both towns also feature speedboats, pirate ship rides, donkey rides, and more—all within 20 minutes of the park.
For those willing to drive a little further, the thrilling theme parks Flamingo Land and Lightwater Valley are within 40 minutes. Closer to the park, you can explore the history of the World Wars at Eden Camp.
2026 Primrose Valley Play Pass Prices & Peak Dates
Primrose Valley Play Passes provide access to the entertainment complex, swimming pools, and sports and leisure facilities.Play Passes can be purchased directly online from Haven prior to arrival or at the holiday park. Once purchased, activity bookings can be made 12 weeks before arrival, and swimming sessions can be booked 4 weeks before arrival. Please note that Play Passes are non-refundable.
Passes are not required for: Amusement arcades, LakeHouse Restaurant & Bar, outdoor cinema, children’s play areas, funfair, Wetherspoons bar, restaurants & takeaways, Coffee House, Burger King, and other areas available without passes.
Remember: Ages 0–4 years do not require passes! Child passes are for ages 4–15; Adult passes are for ages 16+.

*Height and age restrictions may apply to some activities and facilities at Haven Holidays UK caravan parks. Some activities may incur a moderate charge. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult when using the pool. During busy periods, entry may be restricted for safety. To fish in the lake, a valid rod licence is required.
Haven Holiday Play Passes are available for purchase online or upon arrival from Reception. They allow booking of swimming sessions and activities (subject to availability) and access to entertainment venues that do not require booking.
Caution for Haven Private Guests
Haven owners do not get free passes they can give to private letting guests. If you book a holiday at Reighton Sands and an owner provides passes that are not called Play Passes with your name and holiday duration printed, they are not genuine Haven Holidays park passes.
